Also, I just giggled when I read your dedication to your husband, Hassan - because it is exactly what I would've said in a dedication to my husband, Werner. Sometimes I just need to get on a plane and fly off somewhere to be on my own..!
You write beautifully! You are so courageous to share deeply personal and painful experiences. Yet I am amazed at how universal these are - how many of your writings capture my own experiences and emotions. I know that many women who read this will feel that you have at last given them a voice too. May they also be encouraged to express these emotions through art journaling.
