Reading Their Names
"Reading Their Names," is an ongoing and evolving video series honoring the victims of the war on Gaza.
Drawing from the 649-page report issued by the Gaza Ministry of Health, this project respectfully reads aloud the names of those lost, transforming statistics into a deeply personal and moving tribute. The sheer scale of loss is immense; each name carries immense weight. This project is not undertaken lightly; the emotional toll is significant. I work in short bursts, often taking weeks of respite between recordings, to process the weight of each name. The project's progress is a testament to the need for remembrance and a dedication to honoring each individual life lost. Remembering these names is crucial to understanding the impact and preventing future tragedies. Watch the videos and bear witness to their stories.
