Reading Their Names

"Reading Their Names," is an ongoing and evolving video series honoring the victims of the war on Gaza.

Drawing from the 649-page report issued by the Gaza Ministry of Health, this project respectfully reads aloud the names of those lost, transforming statistics into a deeply personal and moving tribute.

The sheer scale of loss is immense; each name carries immense weight. This project is not undertaken lightly; the emotional toll is significant. I work in short bursts, often taking weeks of respite between recordings, to process the weight of each name.

The project's progress is a testament to the need for remembrance and a dedication to honoring each individual life lost.

Remembering these names is crucial to understanding the impact and preventing future tragedies. Watch the videos and bear witness to their stories. Learn more about what is happening and consider donating to charities like Hope and Play who support children affected by the war, at http://www.hopeandplay.org.
